MEET THE TEACHERS
Jade completed her professional training at Performers College, after being successfully awarded a full scholarship to join the 3 year Musical Theatre/Dance Course. Jade graduated in June 2012 after completing the Level 6 National Diploma in Professional Musical Theatre/Dance and her DDI (Diploma in Dance Instruction) in Ballet, Tap and Modern. Jade went on to be part of the 'Performers Dance Company'.
Credits including performances such as: 'ITV Text Santa' 2011 (Dancer), 'Like A Drug' - Adam Tyler Music Video 2011 (Dancer), 'A Can Can Christmas' 2011 at Barleylands (Lead Singer/Dancer), '9 to 5 the Musical' (The Thameside Theatre, Grays 2012).
Jade is now working as an ISTD dance teacher in Ballet, Tap and Modern. The ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) are one of the world leading dance exams boards and strive to achieve the best results. Jade successfully passed her DDE Ballet last summer, has recently taken her DDE Modern and is currently working towards her DDE qualification in Tap. Jade has been with Footsteps for nearly three years and loves every single minute.
Danielle has been performing since the age of 10 when she joined Trinity Arts and 'HADS' where she took part in various productions and Drama Festivals. At the age of 13, Danielle joined Italia Conti Associates where she was their first years 'Student of the Year' and prize winner for Musical Production. Whilst studying at Hillview School For Girls, Danielle was part of their Dance Company and performed on various occasions at 'Sadlers Wells'. Other training and achievements include the Highest Distinction in LAMDA examinations up to a bronze medal.
After studying A-Levels in Drama and Performing Arts, Danielle worked as a Programme Director for Music, Dance and Drama for the New York State Cerebral Palsy Association for 5 years, where she choreographed and directed various performances in New York.
On returning home Danielle completed intense courses in Street Jazz and musical production at 'Pineapple Studios'. TV Credits include ITV1's "Ministry of Mayhem".
Danielle is now kept busy with her little boy and baby girl but is enjoying being part of Footsteps!
Katie joined Footsteps when she was 9 years old, as one of the original members of the cast, and appeared in the very first annual Footsteps show!
After studying musical theatre and performing arts through to A-level, Katie got her first professional job as a parade and entertainment performer at Disneyland, Paris where she portrayed the roles of Snow White, Ariel and more.
Most recently, Katie spent 6 years living and performing in Los Angeles, CA as a singer, actress and dancer in various live stage productions and owned a Children's Entertainment Company.

After returning to the UK, Katie has come back to Footsteps but this time, as a teacher!
Our 2017 show marks Katie's one year anniversary as a teacher and we're happy to have her as part of the team!
After finishing her theatrical training at Grandison College in Croydon, Alison joined the 'Black & White Minstrel Show’ where she became head dancer and vocalist, and spent three years on tour and with the B.B.C television series. Alison then joined the QE II and performed on board as a dancer for the ‘Queens’ Silver Jubilee World Cruise’, plus many Trans Atlantic crossings.
Having left the QE II and working on board many other cruise liners, Alison & her husband formed their own entertainment company, 'The Necessary Steps' where they produced their own shows with teams of other professional entertainers.
In November 2001, Alison formed a Theatrical Workshop for children to show all ages how much fun can be had from learning to act, dance and sing as well as building confidence ….This was the beginning of ‘Footsteps'.
Sian started dancing at a very young age at the Sheila Price School of Dancing where she participated in a variety of shows, pantomimes and competitions. From a young age Sian knew she wanted to have a career in dance so she continued her training at Dartington College of Arts where she graduated with a degree in Choreography. Whilst at Dartington she was given the opportunity to study in America where she worked with a variety of professional dance companies including the New York City Ballet.
Sian has choreographed a variety of competitions and musicals including ‘The Little Shop of Horrors’ and a newly written murder mystery musical 'Murder by Who?'
Rosanna Colclough graduated from Middlesex University with a BA in Theatre Arts. She then went on to study Musical Theatre at the Advanced Performers Studio.
Rosanna has just finished filming To Trend on Twitter, a short film starring David Baddiel, Helen Lederer and Terry Jones. Rosanna teaches acting, musical theatre and runs the media and blogging department at The Scotts Project Trust, a charity for people with learning disabilities. Earlier last year she produced and directed “Starburst” their show at Tonbridge Boys School.
Rosanna also runs “Ro’s Rascals Parties” for children, packed full with games, dancing, singing and acting activities as well as football parties. They are catered for all needs and jammed with energy and fun!
She was the face of Bensons for Beds, but has never got a free mattress or any discounts. Rosanna is a professional singer and often gigs around London and the South East in function bands. She is currently producing her own comedy cabaret show.

At the age of 16, having been with Footsteps for 7 years, Chris began his professional training at Performers College, based in Essex, under the direction of Brian Rogers, after achieving a full scholarship to join the 3 year Musical Theatre and Dance Course. Chris graduated in 2012, receiving a National Diploma in Musical Theatre. Throughout his training, he was lucky enough to work for the college's own dance company, as well as starting to venture out into the real world, performing at prestigious events such as ‘Move It!’ and ‘The Daisy Ball’ along with other corporate events throughout London.
Chris has been very fortunate to be able to travel the globe whilst performing both on land and sea, from Australia to the Pacific, Germany, and from the USA to the Caribbean & Canada.

Chris continues to teach when he can alongside his performing career, bringing his knowledge and experience straight from the professional dance industry.
Tammy runs the front desk on Saturdays and assists Alison and Sarah.
Apart from making sure things run smoothly on weekends, Tammy has a daughter who is a Student Helper and Footsteps member.
